The Pediatric Psychiatric Liaison Nurse performs intake assessments, crisis interventions, and provides input into the care of pediatric patients in Emergency Departments. They collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure effective patient flow, care planning, and transition to community mental health services. Candidates must be registered as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BCCNM and possess at least one year of recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for travel between sites.
