Provides occupational therapy assessments, consultations, and interventions for older adults with mental health needs to maximize functional independence and safety. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, provide patient education, and participate in quality improvement and research projects. Requires graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy and two years of recent clinical experience with older adults in mental health. Must hold current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and be eligible for CAOT-BC membership.
