They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage HIV care, prescribe medications, and participate in policy-making and research to improve patient outcomes. Candidates must hold current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Recent relevant clinical nursing experience is required to succeed in this specialized primary care role.
