The Licensed Practical Nurse provides practical nursing services within an operating room, performing both scrubbing and circulating duties as part of a surgical team. They are responsible for assessing, planning, and documenting patient care throughout the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative phases. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Practical Nurse program and an accredited Operating Room program, with at least one year of recent acute care experience. Current registration with the BCCNM and basic cardiac life support certification are mandatory.
