The Licensed Practical Nurse provides practical nursing services in an operating room, collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate safe interventions. Responsibilities include performing scrub and circulating duties, assessing patient care, and documenting observations throughout the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative periods. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Practical Nurse program and an accredited Operating Room program, with at least one year of recent acute care experience. Current practicing registration with the BCCNM and basic cardiac life support certification are mandatory.
