They also perform technical procedures, administer medications, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Practical Nurse program and hold current registration with the BCCNM. Advanced preparation in gastroenterology or perioperative nursing and recent related acute care experience are required.
