The Licensed Practical Nurse performs patient assessments, plans and implements nursing care, and evaluates outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for documenting care, maintaining a safe environment, and operating medical equipment according to agency standards. Candidates must be graduates of a recognized practical nursing program and hold current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The role requires the ability to work at full scope of practice, including medication administration and effective communication.
