They are responsible for documenting care, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Candidates must be graduates of a recognized practical nursing program and hold current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The role requires the ability to work at full scope of practice, including medication administration and the use of specialized patient care equipment.
