The Licensed Practical Nurse processes referrals and client assessments to facilitate the allocation of non-acute bed resources such as long-term care and hospice. They act as a liaison between care teams and facilities while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting waitlist management. Candidates must hold current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BCCNM. One year of recent, related experience in long-term care or an equivalent combination of education and training is required.
