The Licensed Practical Nurse performs, implements, and evaluates nursing care for clients within a community health setting according to established policies and standards. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, administering medications, assisting with activities of daily living, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans. Candidates must have completed an approved program of Practical Nursing and hold current practicing registration with the BCCNM. Additionally, current certificates in CPR Level C and First Aid are required, along with the physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
