Job summary
Hours of Work : Biweekly Friday 11p-11a (12 hrs. biweekly) HCA (CR4) The Job Responsibilities are as follows: * Following client care plan and delivering high quality client care. * Preparing meals and snacks for clients according to the meal plan. * Using Catalyst system while providing assistance with medications to clients on time according to Excel Policies and procedures and checking/receiving medication that arrive while on shift. * Performing general household duties and maintenance such cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry; and also outside maintenance such as shovelling snow, cutting grass, and gardening. * Maintaining/updating all required documentation such as scorecards, medical records, etc. * Assisting clients with hygiene and personal care. * Providing emotional support to clients and using de-escalation techniques to support clients. * Supporting and assisting clients in maintaining appointments, activities, or programs. * Monitoring client wellbeing, physical and mental condition closely and reporting concerns to supervisor. Accompanying clients to appointments as necessary. * Liaising with families, guardians, professionals and other resource members of the client(s)’ support network, communicating relevant client information to other team members. Requirements: * HCA certificate from an institution recognized by Alberta health Services as evidenced through enrolment in the CLHA Directory is mandate. * Active registration and enrolment in CLHA. (Mandatory) * Maintain certification in First Aid and CPR Level C. * Satisfactory current criminal record check.

Requirements
Candidates must hold an HCA certificate recognized by Alberta Health Services and maintain active registration in the CLHA Directory. Additionally, current certification in First Aid and CPR Level C, along with a satisfactory criminal record check, is mandatory.
