*Job Summary* Are you a self-starter, looking to kick start your career in physiotherapy? Elite Sports Injury is looking for a dedicated and motivated physiotherapy assistant to join our St James team. The ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physical therapy care to patients, as well as assist with office administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to improving patients' well-being. Part time evening shifts available, 2 - 3 evenings per week. What you will do: * Demonstrate exercise routines and proper use of equipment for clients * Assist physiotherapist with patient treatment: apply heat and ice packs; removing modalities; * Perform reception duties, data entry, answer phone calls, and other administrative functions * Promote client safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment * Maintain inventory of physical therapy supplies (check stock, place orders, receive supplies) * Maintain client records and confidentiality of patient and company information *Must haves:* * Obtained or currently pursuing degree in kinesiology * Plans to apply to a Masters of Physiotherapy program an asset * Experience with teaching exercises with knowledge base and attention to technical detail * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and staff * Detail oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team * Physical fitness Join our team as a Physiotherapy Assistant and be part of a rewarding healthcare environment where you can make a difference in patients' lives. *About Elite Sports Injury* Elite Sports Injury Centres are active-based physiotherapy clinics, with five locations across Winnipeg: in St. Vital, downtown, St. James, Bridgwater, and Transcona.
