*Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) (Needs to be certified)* *Part-Time | 3 Days per Week Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays | In-Office* _Periodontics or specialty experience is an asset_ We are a busy, well-organized periodontal specialty practice seeking a reliable and detail-oriented *Certified Dental Assistant* to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, experienced in specialty dentistry, and thrives in a structured clinical environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Prepare patients for surgical and IV sedation procedures; ensure all consents, medical histories, and pre-op forms are complete. * Review and reinforce sedation/NPO instructions; complete same-day post-op calls. * Assist the doctor with surgical letters and clinical documentation. * Support daily clinical workflow and maintain organized treatment rooms. * Communicate OHI and post-operative instructions confidently and clearly. * Perform surgical setups and assist chairside during procedures. * Complete accurate clinical charting, including notes and periodontal charting. *Qualifications* * *CDA certification required; CDACC is an asset.* * Comfortable working in a surgical and sedation-focused environment. * Experience in periodontics or a specialty dental practice preferred. * *Curve Dental experience is an asset.( Very Easy program to learn)* * Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills. * *No new graduates or non-certified assistants, please.* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour Application question(s): * Are you available Monday Tuesday and Thursday Experience: * Dental : 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * license as Certified Dental assistant (required) Work Location: In person
