Under the direction of the Primary Care Manager, The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with members of the Primary Care Team to advance care for clients and their families, according to the College of Nurses scope of practice. Qualifications: * Master's degree in nursing – Nurse Practitioner Extended Class program. * Current registration and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. * Eligibility to prescribe medications and order diagnostics within jurisdiction. * Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in primary care or family medicine. * Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs). * Training or experience in chronic disease management and preventative care. * Certification in additional procedures relevant to primary care is an asset. * Experience working with Anishinabek people is an asset. * Must be certified in CPR and Standard First Aid. * The regulated health care provider must provide evidence of registration with the appropriate regulatory body. * A criminal records search and vulnerable sector search is required upon hiring. * Must be able to travel regularly, have a valid Ontario Driver's License and have access to a personal vehicle. * Completion of Indigenous Studies is considered an asset. * Must be willing and able to work flexible hours. * Must be willing to travel on average one night per week. Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in nursing (NP Extended Class), current licensure, and at least two years of nursing experience. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be certified in CPR/First Aid, and be willing to travel.
