This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement. Classification: Advanced Care Paramedic Union: COV HSAA PROF TECH Unit and Program: Ambulance BMSH Primary Location: Banff Mineral Springs Hosp EMS Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 06-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temporary Full Time Date Available: 16-AUG-2026 Temporary End Date: 16-NOV-2026 Hours per Shift: 10, 12, 14 Length of Shift in weeks: 16 Shifts per cycle: 32 Shift Pattern: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $40.29 Maximum Salary: $53.06 Vehicle Requirement: Driver's License, Vehicle Provided Required Qualifications: Current Registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP). Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider certificate. Class 4 Driver's License and Driver's Abstract. Additional Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). International Trauma Life Support (ITLS). Instructor qualifications in any of the above preferred. Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC).

Requirements
Requires current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics as an ACP and a Class 4 Driver's License. Must hold current ACLS and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications.
