Paladin Security is Hiring a Healthcare Security Guard! Location: Windsor, ON Schedule: Continental Rotation Pay Rate: $22.18/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Windsor Regional Hospital is a major acute-care facility providing emergency services, inpatient care, diagnostics, surgical units, cancer care, and specialty clinics. As a Healthcare Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors in a fast-paced, high-traffic healthcare setting. Responsibilities Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas Verify identification badges and visitor access Conduct patrols across hospital premises (ER, maternity, parking, corridors) Identify and report suspicious activity or hazards Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents Assist with de-escalation of disruptive situations Support hospital staff during emergencies and evacuations Assist with patient transport when required for safety Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment Maintain detailed logs and incident reports Communicate with hospital staff and law enforcement when needed Provide directions and assistance to patients and visitors Follow all safety procedures and hospital policies Requirements Must have or be working toward a diploma/degree in a law enforcement-related program (e.g., Police Foundations, Criminology) Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved provider) Proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella, 2-step TB test) Proof of 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine Ability to commit to a continental rotation schedule (minimum 6 months) Strong verbal and written English communication skills Must be at least 18 years old Legally authorized to work in Canada Nice to Have 1+ years of security guard experience 1+ years of customer service experience Use of Force and/or Management of Aggressive Behaviour certifications Valid G Class Driver's License Benefits Paid Time Off Health Care Dental Coverage On-the-Job Training Growth Opportunities Daily Pay (work today, get paid today) Why Choose Paladin Security?
