The Geriatric Mental Health Program is currently seeking a full time, temporary (until July 16, 2027), Registered Practical Nurse to work in the Geriatric Admission Unit A. Reporting to the GAU-A Manager and working within the inter-professional team, you will provide client-centred care to older individuals with mental health and addiction issues. You will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care and ensure the security, the safety and the CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained. What you’ll do
You will provide client-centred care to older individuals with mental health and addiction issues. You will ensure the security, safety, and CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained.
Requirements
You must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current B.C.L.S. (CPR). Preference will be given to candidates with strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing and experience with individuals with mental illness and/or addictions.
