Position Overview Calian is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist Level 2 to join our team at the CFB Edmonton Dental Clinic. This role offers something rare in healthcare: true work-life balance. The clinic operates Monday to Friday during daytime hours only, meaning no evenings, no weekends, and no on-call shifts. Beyond the schedule, you’ll be part of a clinical team delivering high-quality care to Canada’s military members. Responsibilities Deliver preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care including scaling, root planing, polishing, radiographs, and periodontal assessments Support dentists during procedures and perform authorized clinical tasks within scope of practice Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and preventative care strategies Maintain clinical standards including infection control, equipment maintenance, documentation, and patient records Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada Unrestricted dental hygienist license in the province of practice Certification in the administration of local anesthetics from a CDAC-accredited institution Additional Requirements Candidates must be eligible and able to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance. Requirements
