Senior Test Lead – Healthcare / Digital Health Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Client: Public Secotor Duration: 8+ Months (Possible Extension) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to lead QA and testing activities supporting the modernization and expansion of the Provincial Health Services Directory (PHSD). The resource will lead functional, integration, API, interoperability, automation, performance, security, accessibility, and UAT activities across a large-scale digital healthcare platform. ✅ Must-Have Skills Senior-level Test Lead / QA leadership experience on complex healthcare or digital transformation projects Strong experience developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Cases, RTMs, Test Execution Reports, Defect Reports, and Release Readiness Assessments Hands-on functional testing of React applications, Java/Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, backend services, and databases Hands-on Playwright experience for automated UI regression, smoke testing, debugging, and CI/CD integration Strong Postman and vREST experience for REST/FHIR API testing, assertions, collections, and regression testing Healthcare interoperability testing using FHIR R4/R4B, HL7 v2, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and REST APIs Experience testing Smile CDR, FHIR repositories, resource validation, search operations, and terminology services Experience testing AWS HealthLake integrations, data ingestion, synchronization, retrieval, and FHIR resource processing Experience testing OpenSearch and FHIR search capabilities for provider directory functionality Experience integrating with Provider Registry, Master Data Management (MDM), EMR/EHR, and hospital information systems Experience coordinating SIT, E2E, regression, UAT, performance, accessibility, security, and production validation Strong defect management, stakeholder coordination, documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer skills Public Sector experience – Must Have ⭐ Desired Skills Experience with FHIR Implementation Guides, terminology services, and interoperability conformance Experience testing FHIR Subscriptions and event-driven healthcare architectures Experience with AWS EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and FHIR event notifications Experience with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, or other provincial healthcare systems Experience with WCAG/AODA accessibility testing Experience with healthcare provider/practitioner/organization/location directory solutions Experience supporting production implementation, warranty, hypercare, and operational readiness 📄 Interested?
