Nurse Practitioner(s) Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic Full, Part-time or Casual positions available Salary: $62.65 - $76.15/hour (up to maximum of 35 hours per week) BQWCHC, in partnership with the Primary Care Network of the Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team (HPE OHT), is pleased to announce the establishment of the Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic and to invite Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about improving access to primary care and making a meaningful difference in the community to apply. The Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic (BNC) is affiliated with the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (BQWCHC) but will operate in a separate location providing Primary Care services to better serve our community. The Clinic is part of the HPE OHT’s strategy to increase access and attachment to primary health care in HPE. The Opportunity We are seeking Nurse Practitioners committed to client-centered care who are passionate about innovative thinking and collaborative teamwork. As part of an interdisciplinary team, Nurse Practitioners at the Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic will provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined roster of clients across all ages and stages of the life cycle. NPs will act as primary care providers for their roster, providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, health education, chronic disease management and ongoing care to support optimal health outcomes. Nurse Practitioners will practice autonomously within their full scope of practice while collaborating with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff as part of the broader BNC team. This team-based approach will support continuity, coordination and accessibility of care for clients. Nurse Practitioners interested in full-time or part-time, opportunities are encouraged to apply. QUALIFICATIONS Registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class (EC) Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with preference to those with experience in primary health care or in a community setting Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively and respectfully in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment Commitment to working within and optimizing the interdisciplinary team This role includes primarily Monday to Friday daytime clinic hours, with some evenings, to better accommodate patients’ needs and improve access to care. Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class. Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, particularly in primary health care or community settings, is preferred.
