Location: Downtown and Greater Hamilton Area Environment: Community / Home Care Schedule: 3 days a week Shifts: 9am-5pm What You’ll Do As a Palliative Shift Nurse, you will provide personalized, high-quality clinical care tailored to clients requiring end-of-life and supportive care in their home environment. As a primary care planner, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while focusing more on direct client time and less on travel. Key responsibilities include: Delivering compassionate palliative and end-of-life clinical care Providing respite care for family members of client, respecting end of life goals, symptom management, and health teaching to clients and families Managing complex care needs, such as protecting skin integrity, nutritional needs, oxygenation, tracheostomy or ventilator support Teaching and delegating appropriate care tasks to other care team members and client family members Maintaining the industry’s highest standards of nursing practice Why Choose Bayshore? The Palliative Shift Nurse provides personalized, high-quality clinical care to clients requiring end-of-life and supportive services in their homes. Responsibilities include managing complex care needs, performing health teaching, and coordinating with family members and the care team.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and 1-2 years of recent nursing experience are required.
