Position Details Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33677 Status: Pool, As Needed Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM On Call: Yes Always in person Summary The Operating Room Pool RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 18 months of Operating Room experience as an RN is required . CVOR experience is strongly preferred. This position is set at St. Joseph's Hospital and requires a minimum commitment of 48 hours per six-week schedule plus Call. Specific Skills Clinical skills appropriate to position Interpersonal skills Certifications And Licensures BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience Required includes 1 years acute care experience or 1 years Interventional/Procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or Interventional/Procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship. The RN provides independent care for a sub-specialty group of patients using clinical standards and the nursing process. Responsibilities include delegating patient care activities and serving as a preceptor or charge nurse when assigned.

Requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 18 months specifically in the Operating Room. BLS and RN licensure are required, while CVOR experience and a Bachelor's degree are preferred.
