Title: Clinical Research Nurse Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Responsibilities Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events Patient visit scheduling for protocol related procedures Screening, study recruitment, preparation of IRB reports Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents Performing the process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization Clinical follow-up of study subjects Creation and completion of source worksheets, Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing / accountability of investigational product Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure BayCare Offers a Competitive Total Reward Package Including Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance 401K Match and additional yearly contribution Annual performance appraisals and team award bonus Family resources and wellness opportunities Community perks and discounts Certification Required RN (Registered Nurse) Preferred CCRC (Clinical Research) Education Required Associates in Nursing Or - Diploma in Nursing Preferred Bachelor's in Nursing Experience Required 2 years healthcare or management Preferred Clinical Research experience Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Weekend Work: None Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled

Coordinates and implements research studies under the direction of a Principal Investigator while ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements. Manages patient recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and the reporting of adverse events.

Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license and at least 2 years of healthcare or management experience. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required, while a Bachelor's degree and CCRC certification are preferred.
