AllCare Nursing is seeking dedicated, highly autonomous Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our clinical workforce supporting primary health care and emergency service delivery in remote and isolated communities across British Columbia. This role offers an opportunity to practice full-scope nursing within dynamic clinical environments. Deployed staff operate within primary care settings, remote nursing stations (24/7), and community health centres, providing direct patient care, emergency stabilization, and public health programming. Key Responsibilities & Clinical ScopePrimary & Emergency Care: Deliver acute triage, trauma care, and primary health management in communities with varying access to physician support. Collaborative Practice: Work in close partnership with local Health Directors, interdisciplinary community health teams, and regional healthcare providers. Cultural Safety: Apply principles of trauma-informed care, cultural safety, and humility across all clinical interactions. Clinical Operations: Utilize decision-support tools, electronic medical records (EMR), and point-of-care testing to manage patient care plans. Qualifications & Standards: To ensure compliance with provincial health authority standards, candidates must possess: Professional Registration: Active registration in good standing as an RN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Experience Requirement (Must meet one): Minimum 1,500 hours (1 year) within the past 5 years performing nursing duties in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated community settings. Or Minimum 3,000 hours (2 years) within the past 5 years providing advanced clinical assessments in acute care, ER, ICU, or urgent care settings. Mandatory Clinical Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS Provider - Level C) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or EPICC Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) & Current N95 Fit Test Operational Readiness: Valid, unrestricted BC Class 5 Driver’s License (or provincial equivalent) and capability to travel via small aircraft or specialized transport. Preferred Credentials: BCCNM Remote Practice Certification (RNc) BCCDC Immunization Competency Certification Compensation & Operational Support: AllCare Nursing provides a structured support framework for all field personnel: Competitive Compensation: Fully loaded hourly pay structure with applicable overtime and call-back premiums.
