Your Opportunity: The General Internal Medicine Program at Sturgeon Community Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collaborative healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan within a supportive and innovative practice environment. Description: As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: As Required. Preferred Qualifications: As required.
