Your Opportunity: Central Corridor Medical Affairs is currently recruiting for Nurse Practitioners in the following Departments, Pediatrics, OBGYN, Respiratory, Critical Care, Nephrology, Gastroenterology and Neurology at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. Description: As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Requirements
Applicants must complete an approved Nurse Practitioner program with at least a master's degree and hold active registration on the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers is required, and applicants should identify their preferred department in their cover letter.
