The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive specialized care, diagnosis, and treatment for critically ill and premature neonates within a multidisciplinary team. They are also responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, conducting research, and providing education to other healthcare personnel. Candidates must have a Master's degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program and active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta. A minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU RN experience and NRP Provider Certification are required.
