Job summary

Coaldale Dental Centre is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is flexible - We require a full-time or part-time employee to work along side 2 Local established Female Dentists. Candidate should be friendly, hard-working, detail-orientated and driven. You would be joining a well established practice with great patients. Job Summary Assist dentist, set up equipment, prepare patient for treatment, and keep records. General Responsibilities Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist dentist during dental procedures. Record treatment information in patient records. Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Take and record patient’s medical and dental histories and vital signs. Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist. Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory. Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions Take impressions for study models and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Pour, trim, and polish casts. Clean and polish removable appliances. Perform other related duties as needed.
