*Job Title: Registered Kinesiologist* *Pay: $25.00-35.00 per hour* *Benefits: on-site parking, on-site gym, flexible schedule* *Time Line: 2 weeks* *Description:* *Registered Kinesiologist (Part-Time Contract with potential for Full-Time)* Advanced Medical Group (AMG) is a state-of-the-art medical facility located in London, Ontario. AMG offers a wide range of health and wellness programs, primary care, and specialty clinics to patients in London and the surrounding area. AMG is currently seeking an experienced Kinesiologist to work within our signature Rejuv Program. The ReJuv Kinesiology Program is London's Premier Exercise and Lifestyle program for mature individuals to take control of their health. Our Kinesiologist's help design a customized exercise and lifestyle program based on the client's goals. *We offer:* * A great environment to learn and succeed * Flexible hours * Mentorship from our Lead Kinesiologist * Potential to grow to Full-Time Permanent Position *What you offer:* * Demonstrated ability to consult with clients, identify needs, and sell appropriate services. * Ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of all contract requirements. * Experience designing, and monitoring program outcomes while implementing health promotion initiatives, outcome measures and metrics for ongoing effective success measures. * Communicate regularly on program/client status to all stakeholders. * Oversee individual and group exercise instruction, exercise prescriptions, health/fitness testing and individual lifestyle coaching of members. * Share operational expertise to assist other functional areas (Sales, Administration, Marketing, etc.) * Experience working collaboratively with physicians and allied health professionals considered an asset. * Capable of working independently to schedule clients, take payments, create invoices, and write client reports. *Qualifications:* * Registered Kinesiologist (R. Kin) with the COKO plus 2 or more years related experience. * Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred but required within 30 days of employment. * Group Exercise Instructor certification is preferred. * Wellness training / coaching industry certification (CSEP, ACE, AFAA, ASCA, NSCA, NASM) is optional. * Valid driver?s license. * Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code. *Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* * Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription. * Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others. * Competency in the delivery of REJUV and site-specific programs and services. * Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook. * Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
