Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HARP Certified Chairside Dental Assistant to join our busy Oral Surgery and Endodontic specialty clinic in Brampton on a full-time or part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized dental environment, supporting surgical and endodontic procedures and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong clinical skills, familiarity with dental software, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Prior experience in dental assisting specifically with endodontic procedures will be highly valued. Responsibilities: * Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols * Assist the endodontist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear operative field * Manage patient records using our practice management dental software * Take and develop dental radiographs using digital technology when necessary * Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance * Support front desk by ensuring that accurate treatment planning is communicated * Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure safety and efficiency Experience: * Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably within oral surgery and endodontics, is highly desirable * Proficiency with dental software is preferred * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail * Certification or training in dental assisting is required (Level II preferred) * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Schedule: Our office hours are Mondays through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
